My New Laptop - Dell Inspiron 1520

After months of bugging my managers and hardware admin about my current workstation being too slow, finally they manage to get my boss to get me a laptop.

Its a Dell Inspiron 1520. With an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor that runs on 2.5GHz speed, 4Gb ram, 300Gb hardisk, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M 128Mb, this laptop basically outrun all the workstations, laptops and servers in the office.

I was so excited when my manager told me that he is bringing the laptop back from Singapore one day. Woo~~~ Finally I can bring home my work. Maybe you think that I am crazy because where got people so happy to bring work back, but thinking of no need to stay back too late sometimes, it really matter so much to me.

This laptop is really a speed demon. my previous P4 workstation took 4 minutes and 15 seconds to start Netbean 6.5, this baby took a mere 15 seconds to load. Even clean build a project is faster than build a project in the old P4.
